Cravings – we've all experienced them at some point. But what if I told you that cravings aren't your enemy? They're more like messages from your body, signaling that something might be off-kilter. By understanding the root causes behind your cravings, you can take proactive steps toward managing them with more compassion and care.

1. Dehydration:

Believe it or not, thirst often masquerades as hunger. Next time a craving strikes, try reaching for a tall glass of water first. If you've still got that craving afterward, opt for a snack rich in healthy fats like nuts, seeds, or full fat organic cheese to keep you satisfied.

2. Nutritional Deficiencies:

Sugar cravings can sometimes stem from lacking essential nutrients like magnesium, chromium, zinc, vitamin D, and amino acids. Focus on incorporating a rainbow of fruits and vegetables into your diet, along with proteins to ensure you're meeting your body's needs. Consider supplementing with a quality multivitamin if necessary.

3. Gut Health:

Your gut is home to trillions of bacteria, many of which play a crucial role in mood regulation.
